COERVER COACHING LAUNCH NATIONAL 1V1 COACH EDUCATION COURSE

Coerver Coaching Australia conducted the inaugural Coerver Coaching Study in 1v1 Coach Education Course on Saturday 22nd March in Yass, NSW. The Course was attended by 18 coaches at the Yass Football Club along with committee members and Yass Football Club President Drew Gallagher. Each participant was shown how to effectively teach the 1v1 Topic with instruction from Coerver Coaching Presenter Adrian Haynes. The day long course featured lectures and practical sessions on the Topic of 1v1.

Coerver Coaching Presenter Adrian Haynes said “I had the pleasure of conducting the coaching course in the topic of 1v1 in Yass for the Redbacks Football Club. The coaches gained more confidence in their ability to teach this challenging topic to their players as the course progressed and they were all extremely enthusiastic about going back to their players and using the drills they had been shown. Understanding the three phases of skill development through to game play will really assist them all in their future coaching.”

Yass FC President Drew Gallagher said ”We were very excited about Coerver Coaching’s First Nationally run coarse Study 1 v 1 being held in Yass, over the past five years we have seen the benefits from Coerver Coaching programs with seven of our players completing the Coerver Academy Program, so this year we at Yass FC wanted to invest in our coaches and have them accredited in this style of football so our club will grow in the future with players and coaches on the same path which will led to players having confidence in their ability to play football and is a skill they will have for life”.

Coerver Coaching Asia Pacific Director Jason Lancsar said” This course has been a long time in the making and to launch it regionally is significant in that we are committed to ensuring Coerver Coaching is accessible to as many players, coaches, parents as possible. The difference with this coach education course is that the coaches who attend receive points through the FFA towards their coach reaccreditation. I would also like to thank our Co-Founder Alfred Galustian who devised this course for his dedication towards the growth of football in Australia in particular bringing his 30 years of experience to Australian coaches on a yearly basis for the past fifteen years. Alfred is a world authority on skill development and we are very fortunate that we benefit from his global experiences.
